What relationship can exist between a boy and a girl of same age group? They can be brother-sister, friends, classmates, boyfriend-girlfriend,relatives etc. Then why it happens that whenever we see a boy and girl together the first thought which strikes the maximum number of minds is that they may be boyfriend-girlfriend. Among the many options of relationship present why we select this one only? This is the result of our small and backward thinking that "a girl and a boy cant be friends". Why we say that they cant be friends? because there exist one more relationship between them that is of LOVE? Its just our state of mind.....its only our thinking. We should try to think beyond the walls of our mind......"soch ka dayra badhao".......Friendship before starting never sees that whether the person, whom we are going to have friendship, is a boy or a girl. It just happens by itself like love. Like love, Friendship also does not have a proper definition nor it has any boundaries.
Its easy for us to say for any boy and girl talking together that they are girlfriend-boyfrnd......but this may create a big problem for them. This may even ruin there friendship. One person simply says that "yes they both seems to be in relationship", and this small doubt of one person creates a big rumor which then spreads in everywhere, and its become typical for those friends to even talk to each other sometimes. People start teasing them and passing comments......this all seems to be good only upto a limit.... but when this crosses limit then it becomes unbearable. Its easy to say that 'ignore these talks' or 'let the world n people say, u just do what u want to do', but its not possible to ignore all this. Its easy to make a fun of anyone but hard to bear it when it happens with ourselfs. This thing is mostly seen in colleges. As we become mature and are about to enter in our professional lifes, then why we are not able to make our thinking grow and try to come out of those small, old thinking.....where it is thought that "a girl n a boy can never b friends".
